Jason began his career in Animal Services in 2012 as an Animal Control Officer at the East Baton Rouge Animal Care & Control Center. He became the Department Training Officer in 2015 and eventually worked his way up through the ranks, first serving as a Team Leader during the 2016 Flood and now serves the Department as the Field Supervisor since 2021. He was introduced to LACCA in 2013 and was brought on as an Instructor by the Board the following year.
Jason also has a solid background in law enforcement after having served in that capacity from 1994 to 2010.
He has an Associates of Science degree, majoring in Criminal Justice with a minor in Forensic Science.
He is best known for being Pete's human.
